Albert Cassuto

Albert Cassuto was born in Alexandria, Egypt and came to the United States when he was 6 years-old. He grew up in Brooklyn and went to North Carolina State college where he received a B.S. in Textiles.

Albert was a fabric print stylist for 20 years, and then made a career change to his life long love of photography. For the next 20 years he had a commercial photography studio and color print lab in New York City. He is a self-taught photographer, taking classes as often as possible, and was a member of the American Society of Magazine Photographers (ASMP).

He has been semi-retired since l996 and continues to do photography in the traditional way with film, and for the last 8 years he has been doing digital imaging as well.

He is married with 3 children and 4 grandchildren, and lives in The Berkshires spending most of his time using his iMac and working with digital images.
