Jacalyn Duffin

Dr. Jacalyn (Jackie) Duffin is a historian and hematologist with research interests in medical epistemology, nineteenth-century French and Canadian medicine, medical illustrations, and medical saints. She is the author of Lovers & Livers: The Goodman Lectures 2002(coming soon), Langstaff: a Nineteenth Century Life (U of T Press 1993), To See With a Better Eye: A Life of R.T.H. Laennec (Princeton U Press 1998), and History of Medicine: A Scandalously Short Introduction (U of T Press 1999). She is also the Hannah Professor of the History of Medicine at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
