Peter Giacobbe

Dr. Peter Giacobbe was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He received a Honours BSc from the University of Toronto before pursuing medical school at The University of Western Ontario. He is currently enrolled in a residency program in psychiatry at the University of Toronto.

He has a keen interest in neuropsychiatry, psychopharmacology, medical education, clinical epidemiology, and the representations of medical illness in literature. He has received awards for his research projects at both the undergraduate and medical school levels. One of the greatest periods of Peter's life was sleeping on Ben Barankin's couch for four months (long story).

When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, reading, Geocaching, surfing the internet and obsessively watching any and every type of sport on television.
