Sanjay PaiConsultant Pathologist Manipal Hospital
Bangalore, India Sanjay A Pai was raised in Bombay [now called Mumbai], India and graduated from the Grant Medical College. Later, he did his MD in pathology at the Tata Memorial Hospital, the nations largest tertiary cancer centre and also held a staff position. He is currently a consultant pathologist at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, in south India. His areas of interest include surgical pathology, fetal autopsy, medical education and reading, specially on the humanities and on the history of medicine and science. He has published essays in The Oxford Illustrated Companion to Medicine [2001, editor- Stephen Lock et al].
